Scholarship Information
Iowa State University will award a $1,500 scholarship to the newly admitted, undergraduate, nonresident children or grandchildren of eligible alumni. Eligible alumni include the biological, adoptive, step or legal parents and/or legal guardians of potential recipients as well as biological and adoptive grandparents who have received a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree from Iowa State University.
The scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years for freshmen ($6,000 total) or up to two additional years for transfers ($4,500 total), provided the student maintains continuous, full-time, nonresident enrollment at Iowa State University with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.50. This scholarship is disbursed during the fall and spring terms only, not during the summer term.

You may be requested to provide additional information to assist in the review of your application. Once the review has been completed, you will be notified of your eligibility by the Office of Admissions.
