This transfer plan outlines courses that are suggested for students who wish to pursue Early Childhood Education Unified(ECE) major. Students pursuing this program want to earn a license to teach Birth-3rd grade, and are looking for teaching opportunities in the following areas: Kinder-3rd grade General Education classroom, Kinder-3rd Grade Special Education classroom, PK-K Special Education classroom, Preschool-PreK classroom. Students are encouraged to connect with ISU's ECE academic advisor at the earliest interest in transferring.

ISU ECE Unified is part of ISU's School of Education, Educator Preparation Program. Admission to Educator Prep is required to pursue this major. As of July 1st 2020, PRAXIS CORE is no longer an admission requirement for ISU Educator Prep. Program. ISU also offers non-licensure options. Students who pursue non-licensure option are interested in career opportunities in following areas: Preschool Lead Teacher, Head Start Teacher, Preschool Director, Child Life Specialist. *Not complete list of all career options
