Campus Visit Programming

Virtual Visits

Out of an abundance of caution and to prioritize the health and safety of our guests and campus, Iowa State University has made a few changes to our campus visit experiences due to the continuous spread of COVID-19.

We will continue to offer virtual visits with options ranging from daily virtual visits, transfer virtual visits, and specially designed programming for admitted students.

We will also be offering special interest sessions and virtual student-led campus tours. Check out our virtual visits page for more information. Schedule a Virtual Visit

On-Campus Visits

Our on campus visit options are very limited, and all guests will be required to wear a face covering while on campus. In order to accommodate as many guests as possible, we are limiting each guest to only bringing one visitor with them on their visit. We appreciate your understanding as we continue to prioritize the health and safety of our staff, students, and visitors. Schedule an On-Campus Visit

College campus or national park?

Iowa State's central campus was one of only three colleges to receive the American Society of Landscape Architects medallion award given to outstanding landscape sites. The book, The Campus As a Work of Art, proclaimed Iowa State to have one of the 25 most beautiful campuses in the country.

Iowa State has the largest public art collection in the nation with an estimated 2,000 works of art on campus.

The Campanile. Morrill Hall. Lake LaVerne. Stephens Auditorium. Reiman Gardens. The Memorial Union. Those are just a few of our campus treasures. See what else you can discover.

There are many ways to connect with Iowa State University today! We are excited to share more about our campus with you from the comfort of your own home. If you’re interested in exploring Iowa State on your own, we encourage you to check out the YouVisit Virtual Tour, and our Self-Guided Audio Tour.
